Welcome to Troop 5116 – Empowering Girls Through Adventure and Leadership!
At Troop 5116, we believe that the outdoors is the best classroom for young women to build confidence, leadership skills, and lifelong friendships. As a Scouts BSA girls troop, we follow the same traditions and values that have shaped Scouts for over a century, all while creating a space for girls to shine and lead their own path.
Why Join Us?
- Outdoor Adventures: From hiking, camping, and backpacking to canoeing, rock climbing, and biking, our troop embraces the spirit of adventure. Whether it’s your first time on a trail or you’re a seasoned explorer, there’s always a new challenge waiting!
- Leadership Opportunities: Scouts learn by doing, and every girl in our troop has the opportunity to lead. Through patrols, positions of responsibility, and service projects, you’ll grow your leadership skills while working as part of a team.
- Personal Growth: Scouting is about more than merit badges. It’s about discovering your own potential, learning to solve problems, and developing skills that last a lifetime. From STEM activities to wilderness survival, our program is as diverse as your interests.
- Service to Community: Giving back is at the heart of Scouting. As a troop, we’re committed to serving our community through service projects, conservation efforts, and partnerships with local organizations.
Ready to Start Your Adventure?
We welcome girls ages 11–17 who are ready to explore the outdoors, make new friends, and take on leadership roles. No experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn and have fun!
